The Hamilton-Burlington area is now among the hottest real estate markets in all of Canada, with high demand being driven by appreciating land values and a strong supply of empty-nesters looking to downsize. Several projects are currently under construction in the Hamilton-Burlington area, including LJM Developments' Appleby Gardens Condominiums, taking shape at the northeast corner of Appleby Line and Corporate Drive in Burlington.

The 7-storey, Icon Architects-designed condominium development recently reached its final height and had its tower crane disassembled. Work is now underway on the installation of dark-tinted window wall glazing, framed by black mullions.

The window wall will soon be joined by orange two-toned aluminum cladding, adding some warmth to the exterior while providing a contextual bridge between the growing cluster of mid-rise developments on Appleby Line and the warm-toned brick homes of the low-rise subdivisions to the east.
