Plans for a new grade-separation of GO Transit's Barrie corridor and CP Rail's North Toronto Subdivision have been in the news lately, and UrbanToronto recently attended a polarizing community meeting discussing the issue. In today's Photo of the Day, submitted to the UrbanToronto Flickr Pool by Michael Monastyrskyj, we see a GO train kicking up snow as it crosses Wallace Avenue at-grade in the increasingly dense Junction Triangle, part of the stretch of track Metrolinx aims to replace with an elevated bridge.
