With the late-September launch of Grid Developments' Sunday School Lofts now in the books, we returned to tour the project's presentation centre, situated at the east end of Toronto's Greektown neighbourhood. The 14 Dewhurst Boulevard presentation centre is found inside the 1925-built Temple Baptist Church, the east facade of which will be preserved by ERA Architects and incorporated into the new George Popper Architect-designed development.

Visitors stepping into the vintage property are welcomed into a lofty double-height space, bathed in light filtered through the church's Palladian stained glass windows, set to live on as part of the redevelopment. Inside the space, a reception desk is surrounded by seating areas, including repurposed church pews below the stained glass windows.

Sunday School Lofts is offering a total of 32 condominium units, 27 of which are two and three-bedroom layouts. The suites range in size from 583 ft² to 1,453 ft², with unit sizes averaging over 1,000 ft². The presentation centre includes a 1,044 ft² model suite appointed by Andrew Pike Interiors. There is plenty to see in the suite, and we will focus on its features in a future article.

Right outside the model suite, the floor plans of the suites are posted, along with the three finish packages being offered. Each of the packages (below) utilizes a warm palette of tones, in line with the property's historic red brick exterior.

At the time of our visit, only three of the development's 32 units remained unspoken for. Sunday School Lofts is set to begin construction next year, with completion tentatively slated for spring 2019.
