The City of Toronto is launching the second phase of the ‘TOcore: Planning Downtown” study this coming Wednesday, April 6th, with a free public discussion led by Toronto’s Chief Planner Jennifer Keesmaat and CBC Radio One’s Mary Wiens, focusing on the future of downtown public spaces. The study aims to create a new plan for the city centre, ensuring that new growth contributes to the city's livability.

The event will feature a series of ‘pecha kucha’ talks discussing our public realm, with a number of speakers on hand including landscape architect Adam Nicklin, Gehl Studio’s Geoff Dyck, urban designer Ken Greenberg, Evergreen’s Geoff Cape and senior staff from the City of Toronto’s City Planning, Parks Forestry & Recreation, and Transportation Services Divisions.
